The important question has not been asked
Lawmakers who say the military has kicked out 58 Arabic language experts because they were gay want the Pentagon to explain how it can afford to let the valuable specialists go.
OK, so, they were gay. But the unasked question is, 58 of them??? If there were 58 that were discovered to be gay - and one can therefore assume that there were still more that were not outed - is gayness endemic amongst Arabic language experts? Or is there such a vast number of them that 58 being in the same proportion as in the general population, which seems to be around 1% - then there are at least 5,800 Arabic language experts in the Pentagon's employ.
